Club membership

Membership of the Netball Côte Basque association is valid from September 1 to June 30 and must be renewed annually. There are several ways to join the Netball Côte-Basque association:

All players who regurlarly attend training sessions must become full time members of the Netball Côte Basque association. Only full time association members are entitled to play for a Netball Côte Basque team in competitive matches and tournaments.

Membership fees :

The annual membership fee covers the 10-month period from 1 September to 30 June. At the AGM each year, the Netball Côte Basque commitee sets the membership fee for the following membership period.  Membership fees cover, but are not limited to :

  • third-party liability insurance
  • sports hall hire
  • netball equipment used in training sessions, e.g., posts, chalk, tape, first aid etc.
  • expenses for social tournaments, e.g., trophies, prizes, etc.
  • netball France Federation membership costs

Currently tournament fees are not included in the membership fees. However Netball Côte Basque will endeavour to do their best to raise the necessary amounts required though club fundraising events.

To become a member of the Netball Côte Basque association you must provide the following :

  • Registration form (download link)
  • Image rights form (download link)
  • Medical certificate signed by your doctor in France
  • Photocopy of ID
  • Annual membership fee

Social Membership includes invitations to social tournaments and events, and three training passes per year. Training sessions are 5€ per seance thereafter.

New players are welcome to attend a maximum of two training sessions before deciding wether they would like to sign up as members of the association.

For players living in the area on a temporary basis, a suitable fee can be arranged with the commitee.
